I used to use under xp my xfi fatayti with my xbox 360 using the optical in with dolby but since vista that has not been possible until now.9 _" h6 t& P B5 u/ R' m

A few post back a guy told me how to get the optical in working again using the standard driver. * }& C" D* c" G! _, {0 x' C! J5 {5 {8 `7 R o% i* P' ~- K
You do this by:-0 l6 Y1 W+ p( C8 U
+ {- ^9 v3 ]/ N% g% ~* d1 X& m. ~Right click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select play back devices $ E, q6 I6 C- Y- S8 A$ i9 E, y$ W$ a
Now right click on the speakers icon and select propeties . F0 k+ c5 x8 Y8 W# G . g0 l5 Z: ]( K) M, W7 j( o' |. rIn the custom tab tick enable i/o( O1 B2 g4 Y) ?6 v+ ?5 d n0 t+ R
9 h- ^' X( B, ]9 L8 L3 w' e) OThe in levels tab just un mute the spdif and digital% [/ E& n! U9 x! {. a, K

Right that gets the port working again but its still wont accept dts siganls from the 360 until you do this ( k& y' b3 g- k% T0 M, W( g/ C5 n" m7 ?- E5 y8 Y3 k H( n- R9 D
Download the xfi driver from dell just go on the dell site and download for dell dimension xps 710 4 x& N+ N; L* I( e7 n7 B e# _2 T% O) d, H5 S; E+ o0 K9 u
extract the exe file but dont install it just cancel after extracting * v6 Q- V! D3 M9 |, p: d* Z9 U8 y& P8 k* B1 N
now copy these two files# }! |/ f" z9 Q" @* M- F* C
: X" j z6 W( [) R5 zctac32k.sys " e. O" C- F: m& H4 I7 S4 ?% |- octdvda2k.sys 0 P* A4 q6 h0 n, E( n7 m " p6 L i" ?' @" {' C6 Einto c:windows/system32/drivers$ k7 w) I Z2 n+ _0 O3 \8 L" ]

copy over the two files already there 8 r0 l, v/ {' e! h 7 q) y! ?) w* y3 j4 F' t6 t4 |when you reboot you'll have a new tab in the audio console for decoding7 ? \+ F3 i- V

enable the internal decoder 0 I$ Q- e1 ]9 |. v9 l" x1 b" j; C) O( H
and just one more thing ) Z' f5 u2 u/ J/ t& M k6 }3 M `2 u+ i) [8 A
in the spdif/io tab just enable the option from the drop down menu7 F/ V2 b2 B% M" y1 d% M5 P. L

DTS spdif in decode ( s# e+ K$ H* N+ b+ |7 R , g0 ^1 t' D2 o( ]8 i3 p$ j, @and thats it works a treat for me i now have my xbox 360 connected up to my optical in with dolby digtal in the settings.8 c+ M* F( M. E' V( ^

我试了一下，确实可以的，而且WinDVD播放AC3和DTS片子的时候，CPU占用率有少许下降，但是不能肯定就是真的硬件解码7 g9 d& u7 l a) q/ Z; E! w
