标题: 技嘉JMB36X板载RAID控制芯片固件(?)更新的问题
关于JMicron JMB36X update Option ROM tool的问题：

这五种BIOS更新/备份方式有什么区别？技嘉主板板载的JMB363芯片，若要备份/更新此芯片BIOS，该用哪两个选项？
Syntax:
jm36xuf7 /w file1 update the content of flash with file1 (source file). write into the Flash
jm36xuf7 /r file2 backup the content of flash to file2 (destination file). read from the Flash
jm36xuf7 /p file3 update the content of EEPROM with file3 (source file).
jm36xuf7 /b file4 backup the content of EEPROM with file4 (destination file).
jm36xuf7 /e without file_name, erase entire flash, this argument
is used, when the users need to erase entire flash

顺便问一下，里面的flash与EEPROM分别是指什么？用途是？

楼主好强的人啊，哪里弄来的这个更新文件，可否提供个下载地址？
我找了好久都没有找到这个东西。

没用的，主板集成的控制器的rom也是集成在主板bios里面的
除非你改主板bios

我看更新说明里都提到了“修正了某些技嘉主板的兼容性问题”，而且JMB363这个芯片好像并没有单独出过RAID卡，显然此软件是用于板载芯片BIOS更新的，为何没用？

以前看到的说法是，BIOS中的内容在开机后会读入内存，因此如果不真正修改BIOS的话，也能通过其他的办法来实现内存中实际BIOS内容的变更（VISTA的某些破解版本的原理也基于此），

估计这个驱动也是类似，不过INTEL的RAID功能也只能算业余级，JMB的就更次了，玩玩而已，不必当真

one "jmb36x" folder and this readme file would be found. In the folder of "jmb36x", 8 folders
for various supported OS avaiable, such as

楼上正解，不过楼主功力深厚的话自己改bios也行
sata raid最起码也要promise ,hipoint才能算入门，intel ichXr系列都只能算业余

这个好像得用CBROM集成到主板BIOS里面然后再更新主板BIOS吧。就像以前NF7－S更新Sil3112的SATA Rom一样
