《SATA ST3320613AS DOAs》(转自希捷官方论坛) http://forums.seagate.com/stx/bo ... &thread.id=1504
文中有如下叙述:“I've received four, one after the other from suppliers, of this 7200.11 drive. Each have had similar issues: before even getting to format them they fail and the BIOS can no longer recognize them. From one of the suppliers, out 29 drives, 17 were essentially DOAs and returned to that supplier. (DOA是DEAD ON ARRIVAL的缩写,意思是送到时已死,此句的意思是从一个供应商得知,出了29个硬盘,17个送到时已损坏退回了)That was from the first supplier I used. The last one requires me to send the drive back to Seagate under warranty which I haven't done yet, or even tried.
What is the re-call status of this drive, the 320-Gigabyte, single platter drive? Are others have similar problems?
“Purchased two on friday. Same models you speak of. One was DOA. Bios picked up as 0.0mb.
Returned the bad one this morning. Got home this evening and installed it. And, same freakin thing. And to add salt to the wound, the other one that seemed good is bad as well!!!
Is there some sort of systemic issue with these drives?!?!?!? I've read alot of the same problems at different websites online. (我在许多不同的网页上看到同样的问题!)
There is another post here in the forums as well, where the poster has had the same problem. He posted his date code. Funny thing, his date code is the same as mine is!!

Firmware - SD11

Three bad one after the other?!? Come on Seagate. I use Maxgroup as my vendor, so I assume these three were pulled in succession from the same box. I would be afraid to return them to the vendor again and have the same problem again. My probems were just as similar as others have reported. Bios not seeing drive sometimes, when it does the system hangs, sometimes bios picks it up as 0.0mb. One of the three seemed to do ok for all of 15 min. Was installing the OS when the system did a BSOD and then the bios reported 0.0mb.”
