2008-12-22 11:53 http://forums.pcper.com/showthre ... mp;page=3&pp=15
懂英语的请进。2004年1月的帖子好像当时就有24+8+4+6针电源了。线应该是原装的。但对于12V 功率当时的人就有疑问。我对英语不太懂,有懂得网友进链接看一下,帮忙说一下大体意思。
can i ask why you think i should have thought the specs on the english model that you put there were the wrong ones to look at and infact i should have looked at the american ones?why would i look at the specs for a 110v psu if i live in a country uses 240v ac
i fact in my mind when i queried months before the 32 a rating as i kept seeing 24a posted with your antec rep and he confirmed to me it was right and was indeed 32a i myself thought the reason for the differnce may have been down to the different voltage levels
can you not see having asked once for conformation it was 32a and it being comfirmed that that was true to then find as a result of a query over the voltage protection matter it in fact wrong i find unacceptable
what about the people who bought this server model then
they have 32a 12v rails and your site still says latching protection kicks in at 18a
you still have that to explain that away to comnsumers
Switches
ATX Logic on-off additional power rocker switch (115/230 Volt selector switch)
Special Connectors
24-pin main power connector
3-pin Fan Sensor
4-pin +12V
6-pin AUX Power
8-pin +12V
Fan Only
Transient Response
+5V,+12V outputs return to within 5% in less than 1ms for 20% load change.
P. G. Signal
100-500ms
Over Voltage Protection
recycle AC to reset
+5V trip point < +6.5V
+3.3V trip point < +4.1V
+12V trip point < +14.4V
there is a statement by one of your people in the thread that no antec true power has this latching protection is that true or not
now to this bit
The fact that it was a typo can be confirmed by simply noting that the specs on the US website are and were correct all along.
well lets face facts some one took the page for the server psu
and changed the model name to the TRUE550PEC & TRUE550PGB
but your not going to tell me a typist did this off their own back
do you not get things like web pages and specification sheets checked
by people who understand your own wares
this guy paul i was told by antec rep was the one understood it all
Steve,
The True 550 EPS12V is the same as True 550PGB. In US we named it EPS12V but in Europe we named it differrently. It should provide enough power output for your system.
Thank you.

quite clearley that was not the case at all
now if he is making mistakes like that thats not a typo its a lack of understandin of your own product
but then again it probabley no fault of his as he was reading the same data as i was
which goes to show why things like this must be checked as they tend to become gospel
i do accept you made a mistake
as i understand it you dont make these power supplies
you sell and market them
i would say then the main part of antecs envolvement then is to get things like this right does it matter wether you sell 10 or 10,000 ,does selling more excuse this ,well not to me
lets face it your true power psu to most people is what they think of when they think of antec ,it was allways the case with me any way
However, I believe the greatest harm has been done to the forum which you moderate. I believe most people will be reticent to frequent a forum that allows such inflammatory and possibly libelous language against a respected manufacturer
well just incase your unclear there im a member at amd forums not a moderator
most people in forums will base their opinions on the content ,which im afraid reflect rather worse on your company than any one else envolved in the matter
and at the end of the day forums are the place for us little people to spread the word on matters like this
now to your opening statement
so the rest of you at antec have no respect for me
is that supposed to upset or worry me
did you show respect for me more in the past when you feed me and other buyers false data
fact is i really dont care wether you respect me or not ,i do care when you feed me false data

My boss found the problem.
The EU spec sheet (True550 EC/GB) used the True550 EPS12V specs instead of the True550 specs.
Which means that if you have a True550 EPS12V, the 12V rail can output 36A. If you have a True550 (EC, GB or standard, or TrueControl) then the 12V rail can output 24A.
Thanks to you, we're going through all the spec sheets of all versions for any other errors.
First, I apologize for the misleading info I've given (btw until that post I thought you were talking about the EPS12V, so I need to read a bit more closely).
Secondly thank you for pointing this out, finding out about website errors is always appreciated.
