It is even worse that the so called tweaks come from a person who is not EVEN technically acknowledged, does NOT. Z* D% N+ T8 L) c, L' I, C
know anything about Windows internals, software engineering and sound fidelity that all audiophiles always look for.& e* V9 l: [& T8 M( i! }' q
If you "feel" the sound better, that is the infamous placebo effect and there is no real proof that any tweaks work. 9 P3 ~8 f+ i- f( J' n7 F: xIn fact, I have yet to see a driver that states in its release notes that it improves sound quality. , \6 R9 W: j H) [5 HI've disassembled about every single .SYS driver, .DLL libraries and .EXE executables and found nothing. * V' o& p6 u Y/ l4 P6 D5 t8 UThere are some undocumented registry values, but nothing related to sound quality or performance.: ?* r! Would the so called tweaks even exist, they would be in my Support Packs, you can bet that. ) v# a) a% K+ h3 e6 M+ w( ~/ H! R/ u# \) _0 M. W# N1 g. H
