标题: 为什么1.6x is bad
有很多人认为1.6x已经不错了。错了!  请看以下分析。

注：* 600Mhz core/1.476GHz shader
** normalized to 55nm (assumed 55nm到40nm 37%面积缩减)
  *** normalized to 55nm (assumed 55nm到40nm 37%面积缩减)
很明显870和gt300的性能/mm^2差距远小于770和gt200的差距。而这原本正是ATI/AMD引以为傲的。
根本原因是870原本应该用384bit DDR5才对。引用ATI一位构架师的原话："大一点的改动都怕的要死。" (RV770已被神话了---至少在ATI/AMD是这样）

看了楼主的比较，得出的结论：

N饭：Rv870很惨！
A饭：G300没有很惨，只有更惨！

GPU是这个行业是悲惨的。。。

gt300 is a bit more than one year later than gt200, so gt300 = 1.6x gt200. Let's see if this turns out to be correct.

btw，g300的1.9x (姑且这么算) ，是建立在构架变化的基础上的，不知道nv一个构架吃几年……

先出的可以是较低频率的核心，高频版先攒起来应对NV的新核心
