General Description
The Realtek RTD2485D is an advanced all-in-one LCD monitor controller with analog (RGB), YPbPr, HDMI, DVI, and DisplayPort 2A+2D inputs. It includes a Microcontroller Unit (MCU), an audio DAC, an advanced 6-axis color engine by VividColor, and an infrared controller, providing a powerful and integrated cost-effective platform supporting up to 1920x1080 (1080p Full HD) resolution.
The full-featured RTD2485D is a Frame-Buffer-Less solution offering a low-cost system design by reducing the number of system components, and by deploying on a 2-layer PCB.
The RTD2485D received the “Innovation Product Award 2008” from the Hsinchu Science Park Administration, and won the Best Choice of COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2008 Award” for its innovative integration of many functions previously requiring multiple external ICs. It offers high integration, high performance, and high adaptability, all within a compact package size, providing a very competitive solution.
