We are still investigating and collecting testimonies about the compatibility problem between the 2011 MacBook Pro and the C300 SSD.
To start with, it looks like the problem only occurs on the 13" MacBook Pro (Core i5 or i7). We receive many feed back from users of 15 and 17" models who don't have any problem to report.
To that we have to add a very interesting testimony published on the Macrumors forum. Two Mac users tried to install the new Intel 510 SSD in their 13" MacBook Pro. They had exactly the same problems as with the C300, they were unable to install Mac OS X on it, and also to boot from the SSD with the System cloned on it. This SSD also caused problems on the 15 and 17" models.
At that point, we start wondering if the problem could be in the 2011 MacBook Pro. These two models of SSD have in common the SATA III interface, which is still rare on Hard Drives. It explains why the C300 was at first thought to be the one creating the problem. Many people decided to get the new MacBook Pro to take advantage of the SATA III interface.
The problem is not catastrophic, and it should be solved by an EFI or Mac OS X update, given that they apparently work via BootCamp. The problem is to know when Apple will do that update given that it concerns only people who have decided no to get an Apple SSD, and given also that Apple's SSDs work perfectly fine as they are still in SATA II. 作者: jinxin0421 时间: 2011-8-7 22:15

顶。仔细查了查资料看来要等apple更新ELF才能使用。不是完全没希望。
买硬盘要包装做啥用啊。好看啊。
