拜託幫忙一下..

沒轍了..
不救了..
這張卡徹底掛了..

開機連megarec復原工具也抓不到..
而且沒有debug mode..
也過保了..
不爽 ..
只好再買一張raid hba..

沒想到真的開進去了...
所以呢?!
還是一樣..
苦求SBR檔....
只要有這個檔..
就能修好了..

DOS操作
SBR讀取命令:
megarec -adplist <<==取得控制器索引<index>
megarec -readsbr <index> sbr1078.bin

拜託有8888ELP的兄弟救一下...

或者上 xtremesystems.org 問問，那裏面好象有些人在搞 cross flash H700 之類的，可能也會有 8888ELP 的 SBR...

看來我太天真了..
我拿到SBR後..
嘗試寫回去...
結果發生SBR Write failed...
系統當場hang住不動..

我只有兩種情況可以選擇:
1. 強制RMA
2. 重買一張新的HBA, 並且直接升級

剛剛已經通過RMA資格...
We have approved your request for a product replacement. Your RMA number is R00000000.
This RMA is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of this email. If the return is not received within thirty days, we will close this authorization and allow you to resubmit your requests.

Packaging Instructions:
Package the defective item and reference this RMA number R00000000 when sending product back to LSI. Use either the original packaging and ESD bag from the replacement RMA controller that you will be sent to avoid damage to the product. Damaged or altered boards will be rejected, and you will need to pay return shipping to receive back your defective controller. No replacement will be issued for a rejected board. See LSI KB article http://kb.lsi.com/KnowledgebaseArticle15008.aspx regarding voiding of warranty. If you need an ESD bag, you can request from lsichannel@palcotelecom.com . If you have entered an RMA request for a battery backup unit, see LSI KB article http://kb.lsi.com/KnowledgebaseArticle15008.aspx. Only send the item that you are having a problem with. and not the cables, software, or documentation. Make sure the RMA number is visible on the box and packing list. Ship to the address below. Upon receipt, a replacement order will be shipped to you via FedEx.

其實我之前早就做過LSI RMA...

只是過程很麻煩...

這情況頗複雜的....
以下都需要英文能力
一般的方式..
你可以透過MAIL跟LSI Tech Support進行溝通協調...
他們的保修並不是很單純...

如果你是透過國內代理商購買的..
而且這個國內代理商肯願意負責保修的話...
你需要請求國內代理商的幫忙..
因為在USA或EUR(歐洲)之外的區域...
不是LSI的保修負責範圍..

那這問題來了...
如果你的LSI產品不是從國內代理商購買的..
而是以下幾個情況:
1. 國外購買
2. 有保固的水貨
如果是這樣的情況..
那就會相當麻煩處理...
你可能需要跟LSI Tech Support做不斷的溝通..
不管是水貨或著甚麼來路不明的貨..
寶僱請一律透過checker來檢查...

除非另一種解決方式..
如果你朋友有居住在歐洲或著美國..
或著你本身就住在那...
歐洲或美國是LSI的當地負責範圍...
從那邊寄送...
100%可以獲得RMA服務...
我之前的RMA作法就是請USA的朋友幫忙..

另外申請RMA的另一種方式就是
1. 加入LSI網站會員
2. 直接透過LSI網站申請保修(Submit a RMA request)
3. 經過核准後, LSI便會mail通知您之後的相關流程如何操作
4. 你會收到一組RMA Number, 這組號碼很重要
5. 在包裹寄送(fedex/ups/dhc, etc...)的時候, 你必須要在box上或著package list註明RMA Number..
