With 3 major launches in under 3 months it seems like I’vewritten he same thing time and time again, and that wouldn't be an incorrectobservation. By being the first to deploy 28nm GPUs AMD has been enjoying amulti-month lead on NVIDIA that has allowed them to set their own pace, andthere’s little NVIDIA can do but sit back and watch. Consequently we’re seeingAMD roll out a well-orchestrated launch plan unhindered, with AMD launchingeach new Southern Islands card at exactly the place they’ve intended to fromthe beginning.

总结：随着三次重要发布，我似乎在一次又一次写着同样的东西（蛋疼），而且我不用担心它会出错。率先踏入28nm GPU领域的AMD已经享受了数月领先的快感，而NVIDIA仍然在遵循自己的步伐缓慢前进，除了发呆和瞪视什么也做不了。因此我们看到AMD从开始就在没有任何阻碍的情况下，精心策划、有条不紊的完成各级南岛产品在市场中的布局。

At each launch AMD has undercut NVIDIA at critical points,allowing them to push NVIDIA out of the picture, and the launch of the RadeonHD 7800 series is no different. AMD’s decision to launch the 7870 and 7850 atroughly $25 to $50 over the GTX 570 and GTX 560 Ti respectively means thatNVIDIA’s cards still have a niche between AMD’s price points for the timebeing, but this is effectively a temporary situation as NVIDIA starts drawingdown inventory for the eventual Kepler launch.

历次AMD发布关键产品时均采取低价策略与NVIDIA竞争，但这次发布的HD 7800不同。AMD决定将7870和7850的价位定在分别比GTX570和GTX560Ti贵$25和$50美元的附近，这意味着N卡届时还有一点市场空间，但实际上留给NVIDIA在Kepler发布前清库的时间并不多。

Starting with the Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition, AMD iseffectively in the clear for the time being. At roughly 9% faster than the GTX570 there’s little reason to get the GTX 570 even with the 7870’s pricepremium; it’s that much faster, cooler, and quieter. With the launch ofPitcairn and the 7870 in particular, GF110 has effectively been removed fromcompetition after nearly a year and a half run.

从HD7870 G赫兹开始，眼下的AMD已没有任何阻碍。领先GTX 570 9%的优势完全可以抹平7870价格上的升水，而且它还更清凉、更安静。随着Pitcairn尤其是7870的发布，GF110实际上已经被宣布告老还乡，将近1年半多的市场征战终于结束了。

As for the Radeon HD 7850, things are not so clearly inAMD’s favor. It’s certainly the best $250 card you can buy, but then that’s thecatch: it’s a $250 card. With GTX 560 Ti prices starting to drop below $200 afterrebate, the 7850 is nearly $50 more expensive than the GTX 560 Ti. At the sametime its performance is only ahead of the GTX 560 Ti by about 9% on average,and in the process it loses to the GTX 560 Ti at a couple of games, mostimportantly Battlefield 3 by about 8%. AMD has a power consumption lead to goalong with that performance lead, but without retail cards to test it’s notclear whether that translates into any kind of noise improvements over the GTX560 Ti. In the long run the 7850 is going to be the better buy – in particularbecause of its additional RAM in the face of increasingly VRAM-hungry games –but $199 for a GTX 560 Ti is going to be hard to pass up while it lasts.

至于HD 7850，AMD的恶趣味就有点看不明白了。7850无疑是（目前）$250价位上最好的卡，然而问题就在这，它是一张$250的卡（废话），随着GTX 560 Ti降到$200以下，7850就比560Ti贵了将近50美元，而性能领先优势仍然只有9%，并且在几个游戏测试中7850还败给了560Ti，在战地3里最高输了8%。AMD拥有领先的效能比，但7850相对于560Ti并没有强到大家都随声附和的地步。长期来看7850更值得购买——尤其是在这个被各种爆显存的时代，但是199美元的560Ti显然不会轻易放弃。

Wrapping things up, at this pointin time AMD has taken firm control of the $200+ video card market. The onlyreal question is this: for how long? AMD enjoyed a nearly 6 month lead overNVIDIA when rolling out the first generation of 40nm DX11 cards, but will theyenjoy a similarly long lead with the first generation of 28nm cards? Only timewill tell.

归根到底，在目前情况下AMD已经牢牢掌控了$200+的显卡市场，现在只剩一个问题：能持续多久？在推出第一块40nm DX11显卡后，AMD享受了领先NVIDIA长达6个月的快感，这次他们还要这么爽么？天知道。

中间还有两段废话，不翻译了，AT这次基本是向着AMD说话，恨老黄不给力。

前面废话都略，具体型号跟前两天披露的一样，唯一不同的是这次有指导价，7870是$350，7850是$250，差了一百刀。
