标题: 求助，intel 扩展卡 load balancing怎么打开？

9260 + res2cv360
我是这么连的，9260的1号头连接扩展卡的A，2号头连接扩展卡的B，在msm 9260显示"RES2CV360 (30), Connector: Port 0-3"
卡属性里显示0号口连线中，其他7个都是0x0，是不是9260开某个参数才能双线连接.....
不会是这扩展卡不支持load balancing吧，下面是说明书

扩展卡上接了8块硬盘，接在卡上C，D端口上

刚测试了下，单组raid跑1100m/s，2组同时跑只能700+700总14xx，难道LSISASx36只能单线的？

使用Hard Disk Sentinel查看状态msm好多下面这些信息.......

忘了log怎么搞了......我看了下以前的log应该是开了的......
难不成真是这扩展卡只能接单线么，或者是我线插错口了？
这卡连份说明书都没有，送的线10cm一条太霸气了

我卡是直接放在4u机箱主板位置那里的，另一个机箱拉2条线接卡上
话说这4u机箱3个12cm猫头鹰风扇只接了16盘初始化的时候都能跑到53度

log已经pm你了
现在遇到一个很麻烦的问题,,,,,,
之前接8个盘的时候没事，刚把另一组原有raid5 8盘接上去，只要2组raid同时读写(1组在初始化1组在hdtune扫描)就出现了下面这些信息，很频繁
16个硬盘里面随机一个会假死，然后整个raid处于暂停状态，大概几秒就出现下面这些，然后恢复，在过一段时间又出现了
通过换扩展卡接口问题依旧，我机箱现在是这么接硬盘的 -是硬盘 .是空位，应该不会是这个问题吧？

9260能支持load balancing??

经过不断测试，6楼那个问题只存在于，卡里有raid在初始化时才会出现，不知道什么原因

根據你的配置是不需要在乎所謂Load Balancing的..
由於他是全部對應一個PHY上...
因此全部寬帶都會用上..

請執行HWRAID_Update_64
反之, HWRAID_Update_32

你的觀點一直困在LoadBalancing這塊...
不過根據tty log來看, 這可能會是expander的影響, 而非RAID HBA本身...
根據上述的T23階段, 接到initiator的8組PHY被合併成一組wide-port....
也就是說實際上只是被單純橋接(bridge)過去, 這8組PHY是全部被用上的....
因此這不會使得LoadBalancing會有甚麼影響....
如果要使得LoadBalancing發生副作用, 恐怕是需要Expander x2, all SAS(dual-port) devices....

这卡不是能跑上2g吗，我以为双线的话可以1+1=2了，不能拆成2组wide-port？
我记得你之前测试ssd单线也是1.4g后来双线有2g了.....
我昨晚又做了个测试，1组跑as ssd 4k-64thrd实际几m到几十m，另组hdtune降到了300m....
估计9260带2组8盘raid5有点吃了，我还想着把其中一组转成12盘r6的，看来算了，等pcie 3.0系列升级

NegRate代表溝通速率...
你其他PHY並沒有被連接..
如果你要突破2GB/s...
除了SSD Array之外..
剩下最快的SAS 2.0 HDD可能可以達成...

關鍵不在RAID Controller本身..

當你接兩條時...
RAID HBA的8組PHY就會全部被用上...
如果大量的高速target device被連接..
例如是SSD...
那麼他會對性能有重大效益..

是需求而定..
如果你的phy wide port數量很充裕..
那麼接兩條是無所謂..

其中你有提到SSD x4..
假設你的SSD是Plextor M3P以上這種等級的..
那麼接兩條就很重要了!!

1条跑1.4g，2条也是1.4g，上不去了，估计加那个key才能上去了？我的主板后面的pcie用的是nf200芯片，据说这个芯片速度不快，不知道是不是这个照成的....

一颗nForce 200芯片只能提供16条PCI-E 2.0通道，因此基于此的SLI系统只能是双x8半速模式(nForce 780i也是如此)，对顶级平台来说影响性能是必然的，虽不致命但恐怕也会让发烧友心里留下个疙瘩。

真是nForce 200引起的啊.....
晚上我插黑色插槽看看，那个是主板的x8

晚上测试过了，黑色也是走nf200.....
6个插槽只接了块6970显卡，9260插任何3，4，5任何一个缓存也没能过1.4g
有没可能bios里面设置错误了？bios里面关于pcie的选项一个都没....
估计只能等年底换x79平台了

上面这个错误几天来一直有，今天重组raid还存在，喇叭一直响无耐只能永久关了
Hard Disk Sentinel对着这端口找到这块盘，发现完全正常的没有多余的错误.....
有没方法消掉9260这条记录，好在次打开喇叭

之前测试扩展卡端口时，3，4号盘离线过，不知道是不是当时留了记录......

好像关机插和直接插都试过，具体忘记了.....
反正拿那组raid做过很多实验，掉了块然后copy数据中再拔一块，然后在都上线，好像直接初始化了，数据什么的都安全

總覺得你的metadata似乎不穩定..

針對你提出的問題..
這並非是PD存在問題..
而是有PD被狀態反轉...
處於commissioned HSP..
這個問題我曾經跟LSI的FAE展開長期的email討論..
自從0077版f/w之後, 就可能會現這種鳥問題...
具體可能會發生的情況就先不說了..

這個問題目前最好的解決方式就是re-creating VD without initialization...
但是它具有風險性...
所以最好事先備份你的config....
在進行操作...
也就是說透過這樣的做法把原本的metadata全部打掉重做...
這樣便會重新保持原始的VD config...

我说下流程........
扩展卡没升级固件前，很多问题于是9260喇叭响了，其中一条就是这个config错误，永久关闭喇叭
config这个错误我之前硬盘升级固件遇到过，当时是删了raid5重组解决的，于是这次我也这样做了

现在这组raid5我换上了一块新盘，然后把整个raid删掉，在建立过一个raid5(原来stripe size 512k 现在是256k)，完全初始化后copy之前的数据进去，这时我记得好像是重启还是怎么了，于是喇叭就叫了又是那条config错误，只能永久关闭

按理这个config应该是全新的，之前的错误被带了过来？硬盘全是健康100%没有坏道
会不会9260里面保存的资料错乱了？毕竟我扩展卡口多，所有口都试过，硬盘编号都过50了.....

喇叭我到是无所谓，只是这个错误不知道是否严重，不严重的我就不管他了

如果你的VD是optimal..
他就是一個comestic...
他不會影響你的操作..
只是很煩...
當然buzzer的問題能解決是最好的..
因為buzzer有時在緊急狀況下他是有用的..

通常為了保持metadata的原始..
除了把VD上的COD全部清空之外..
也要保持NVRAM是否為乾淨狀態...
