Gigabyte provided an extensive list of models that would support Kentsfield. However, all of these models are Revision 2 boards that will be released in mid- October. Gigabyte made it very clear that all Revision 2.0 boards below will fully support Kentsfield.

dfi还没有正式作出回应，dfi 975也是支持4 core的

之前看到关于C2的改进并没有提到和四核有关。期待进一步的资料消息

C2步进和Quad core没有直接关系，许多C1的965都能支持了，只需升级BIOS更新CPU微码.

现在基本确定绝大多数支持Core2Duo的965和975主板都能通过升级BIOS支持Core2Quad,这次Intel还算有点人性，不过基于Quad处理器和X6800相等的价钱，也只能望而却步了。

# j% L' B8 y  H除了11月份的Q6800，还有明年Q1的Q6600，到时候就便宜了。

所以现在选一块好的975X或者965P还是很有"生命力"的!
