有人下到正式版的GPU Client了吗?

Cat 6.10和GPU client已经可以下了。 -请使用文明用语-, ATI只发布了XP的Cat 6.10。 Readme是说6.10最快。 6.8和6.9不行， 6.5到6.7比6.10慢25%。

不过我用x64的6.9也能跑，毕竟x64和x86的代码不同，bugs也不同。

没觉得有什么特殊，跟CPU client一样。唯独就是GPU的温度会攀升，不过也没我想象的那么恐怖。

呵呵，GPU温度终于升高了，而且Client调用的是专门采用GPU加速的FahCor_10而非FahCor_78了。官方公布了三个版本，只有最后那个Fancy版本在我这个冒牌的X1900上开始使用GPU运算了。虽然左边中部Waiting for core的数量在不断增加，从最初的5xxx/0变成了13xxxx/0，右下角的图标现实当前工作状态Work（0/0），而且在保持程序最小化到右下角的状态下，GPU温度高达49，因为我有水冷，待机温度是39左右，一般50度差不多是我玩大型游戏时GPU的温度。所以我估计Waiting for core的/左边的数字就是在命令行版本下看到的运算量，比如250000，到了图形界面下就显示2500。那么还是等最终的结果吧，如果真的在我的帐户下能在1天之内看到有了积分（我的单个核心算2500个Frames需要3天的样子），就可以证明强制在X1600XT上装X1900驱动来越过Client的判定是可行的，因为我们知道其实X1600比X1800更象X1900，象素单元比流水线数为3：1。

从log可以看出一点 Completed 0
冒牌的X1900果然不行啊，但可以想见GPU的流水线内应该充满了任务的，不然GPU温度不会升高。
但如果是新的FahCor_10和界面程序有冲突而无法识别当前任务量，也无法保存已运算任务量的话，呵呵，Stanford那帮子人可以下课了，呵呵，但一般不可能是。

我晕，你们手头有X1900的都不试试啊，害我在这瞎忙活，就下载个客户端就知道到底行不行啦，呵呵，当然用户填Weapon最好了呵，Team填3213，其他不用管了，详细的我推荐的论坛置顶贴有的。这是老教程了，新的界面有稍许不同，看不懂英文的就不管好了。拜托你们有X1900的试试吧，给我个参考，看值不值得在R600之前再败一块。

你居然拿X1600也能跑的起来？驱动最好用Cat 6.5， 6.10在某些项目上会出错。目前看来GPU是CPU的78x。可惜GPU还不能代替CPU。

Catalyst driver version 6.5 [download from ATI or from a Stanford mirror ]. Version 6.10 currently does NOT work [download from ATI if you want it] and ATI is working to fix this. Versions 6.6 and 6.7 will work, but at a major performance hit; 6.8 and 6.9 will not work at all. Due to all the complexities of support, we will support only versions 6.5 and 6.10.
DirectX: 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) or later, [download here] , which yields d3dx9_30.dll (the critical part for FAH)

RacingPHT说的没错， x1600跑不过来，就连rv560可能也够呛。

我明显能感到2D比较迟钝，何况还得赔上一个cpu core。

呵呵，能不能跑和跑起来如何是两回事儿嘛，架构类似为什么不试试对吧。
换了6.5然后删掉了以前下载的Work Unit，这回界面上的显示成了XXXXXX/25000000，后面这个终于有了数字了，但右下角还是0/0。

X1300不是3:1设计，X1800也不是，所以Stanford也是说考虑而已，但它也没有否认X1600的可能，呵呵，再等几个20分钟看看，这里感谢小薇在X1900出来的时候曾和我说起的那句X1600比X1800更象X1900的话，让我影响十分深刻。

其实我也才接触Folding@Home，我感觉这Completed 10相当于在说完成10%，因为我比较画面中的Waiting for core的值和log中的记录看，一个Completed相当于250000，我这个是25000000的运算量。

强制安装X1600为X1900是在设备管理器中，我拿V3400安装成V7350道理一样

现在我正试一个CPU的平衡点，因为那台机器还在算BOINC，在让Folding独占一个核心的时候，约20分钟算好1％，这时我选的是Folding优先级略高，可以使用单颗核心100％资源。但我设置为推荐的低等级时，Folding几乎没占多少资源，而且内核占用率不像之前那样50％了，这样算1％约40分钟。正在试验稍高优先级，最大占用50％来看下一个1％算好需要多少，呵呵。真想能分析这些算法该多好啊。

呵呵，不是炫耀，是想找到兴趣相同的人一起来聊聊敢兴趣的话题。在官方网站那才是有点炫给老外看的感觉，呵呵，但自己清楚没掌握核心技术是没用的，虽然在看C++和图形学的书和文章，但总没有什么突破，只能说明白这会事儿，但还想走得更远啊。

最近淘宝很多人在卖20xx的X1900XT 512M，看得我直流口水，可惜只有1个月质保，不敢冲动啊。唉，那超过频后的X1600XT得算约33.3小时。
