是的，很值钱，这里搞大型机的牛人也不少，我就不献丑了。简单说说。

小机和一般X86服务器的区别在于体系结构，一个RISC，一个CISC

硬件机能上，小机的抗造能力比X86一般高出2个等级。

硬件扩展，N年钱，X86还在望着1G内存最大支持的时候，人家早就纯64BIT往上面走了。存储独立什么的，都是从小机开始发展的。

软件，系统封闭，提供不一般的稳定性，高性能么，那2个公司（IBM/HP，做得比较大的好象就这两家）牛人N多，特定环境特定应用下提供令人掉下巴的能力

先进技术的使用，全部都是从大机开始，然后到小机，最后才到X86的。

核心应用市场长期被垄断（N年前，PC刚诞生的时候，人家IBM和其他公司的前身就在高端市场耕耘了很久鸟，而高端市场对于延续性和应用的一致性比较看重，自然造成了事实上的标准）

而且，那100多万，估计是报价吧，成交价应该没那么高，当然，如果P系列高端全配，当我没说过。

关键是这里面还含有IBM软件的授权和维护费用，这些东西，全中国就那么丁点大个圈子的人在搞，物以稀为贵嘛，自然就贵咯

我只记得在某个地方看到过，P系列一套6XX，全配，512G内存，好象是30KVA的供电线路，靠~~

Dell不做高端服务器，只卖PC....单位上次买HP存储的时候，HP送了两台80万的小型机，HP的工程师上门安装，经过测量对我们的用电不太满意，单位的电工说以前给Dell机房做电也是这个规格，那HP的工程师很不屑地回他说Dell只卖PC，小型机以上的服务器他们没有资格做。

另外刀片跟小型机不是一个级别的玩意，刀片还是属于PC。

小机一般来说体积在半个到一个机架之间吧

我们公司刚买了2台IBM P570 10CPU 20G内存，5台P550，总价要500多万，应该是打了很低的折扣的，听说光一台P570报价就要200多万！

现在P550已经快没货了，最新的LIST型号为52A，55A等了。100W配55A的话配置已经很夸张了。不知道楼主的价格里面包括不包括FC交换机，存储以及软件！

小机不单是卖给用户硬件,还包括软件及服务的.

高配PC 服务器单硬件部分也可以超100W.

也不能这样说，现在小机的价格已经不那么高高在上了。象520（52A），280等这种低端的机器梢低一些的机器3-6W就可以搞定了！

4个137G的万转硬盘要一万一。
15寸的液晶显示器要三千四
每年还要付三万五的系统维护费。
