Destructible Environments
One of the new features exclusive to Bad Company will be the addition of 90% destructible environments. Most of the terrain will be able to be destroyed, enabling players to create strategies with this new opportunity. For example, snipers might be able to blow away a corner of a building so that they could use that section as a place from which to fire. This does not mean that they are invincible, however. Vehicles such as tanks will have the firepower to destroy many of these buildings, encouraging the player to retreat and find another strategic point. So if a sniper is in the building picking you off, you can return with a rocket launcher and bring that whole side of the building to the ground!
The player will be able to use their weapons to create damage to the environment enabling the player to make perfect ambush sites or take out a snipers cover.
Squads
The amount of soldier classes will be lowered, as some of the character classes will now be combined, an approach also used in Battlefield 2142. This will also create "new loadouts of weapons and equipment."
Weapons
Available weapons are currently unknown, but they will likely contain modern favorites as well as some new concepts based on future weaponry, such as the XM8 carbine with an M320 grenade launcher that is shown in a few of the screenshots. Also in the magazine "PLAYSTATION", it has a screenshot of the player holding a bazooka and the M8 assault rifle.
Ironsight
Ironsight is an aiming mode to be featured in the game, as it was in Battlefield 2. Aiming in Bad Company will now cause your firing direction to move in random directions to take away repetitive fire, just as it would work in real life. Using Ironsight will help to improve a players aim, causing the player to focus on his target and temporarily blur out surrounding objects. 作者: chris100 时间: 2007-3-1 12:40

Marketing finally released the movie of the in-engine teaser we
created for Battlefield: Bad Company a while ago. This is the same
movie I showed at SIGRAD a few months ago as part of my Frostbite
presentation.
It is exclusive for Xbox Live Marketplace for now but it has already
spread to websites such as Xboxyde (SD version), Xboxyde (720p
version), Youtube and Google Video.
The HD version seems to have been quite heavily compressed, Im sure
some other site will release a better version pretty soon.
For the technically interested, yes this is real-time footage from
within our new Frostbite engine. It is a 720p direct feed captured
from a Xbox 360 devkit running at about 25 fps with no additional
offline post-processing or such.

Actually the lead programmer for Rallisport and BFBC isnt the same,
but there are quite a few key people from both RSC and BF2, myself
included, working on both BFBC and Frostbite. We have a very good
