Most LCD monitor claims to have a color temperature that conforms to the 6500K standard. However in truth they may vary as much as 3000K from this value, resulting in a severe loss of color fidelity. The FP91R in contrast has greatly reduced this divergence, keeping color temperatures within 200K of the configured value. At a color temperature setting of 6500K or at different color levels the discrepancy is kept within of 200K of the set value, greatly reducing the possibility of color inaccuracies and increasing the stability of color rendering. 
To meet various requirements, professional designers sometimes adjust the color temperature value of their displays to simulate real-world environments. For example, a color temperature setting of 8000K can be used to emulate the lighting conditions of a sunlit day, while one of 6000K can emulate an overcast day. The FP91R provides 13 color temperature settings, from 4000K to 10000K in increments of 500K. By ensuring color stability and accuracy, the FP91R allows users to adjust color temperatures without affecting the fidelity of color rendition. 



The FP91R uses technology that enables each color's gamma curve to achieve consistency, ensuring that middle levels are fully rendered.
To ensure color consistency when the FP91R is used in conjunction with other computer peripherals, the gamma value can be adjusted in a range from 1.8 to 2.6, in increments of 0.2. This flexibility allows the color output on a photocopier to match that on the FP91R, or provides identical color rendering on two FP91R units. 
In terms of color gamut, even if a LCD monitor complies with the sRGB standard, color rendition is still inconsistent. Compared to regular LCD monitors, the FP91R greatly reduces deviations from the sRGB-specified color gamut, dramatically increasing color consistency. 
To avoid luminance decay after a long period of usage, the FP91R features a luminance compensation and calibration reminder feature. The user need only activate the calibration reminder feature from the OSD menu.After 50 hours of use, a reminder to perform luminance testing will be provided. Simply attaching the wired controller to the LCD monitor's surface, the luminance sensor on its back will test the luminance automatically. If luminance decay has occurred, pressing the wired controller's“Calibrate” button will initiate automatic luminance compensation. So that the same level of luminance that the monitor had when it left the factory can be restored. 

The FP91R allows users the ability to adjust hue or saturation for colors from soft proofing or others. Red, green, blue, cyan, magenta and yellow colors can be adjusted independently enabling specific colors to look more real without aberration.
