Nvidia average selling prices are destroyed

DAAMIT After many years, Nvidia has a really fearsome competition as ATI has a cheaper, smaller and better priced chip while Nvidia has big, expensive and not that much faster chip called GT200. For many years ATI was close enough but never a step ahead, at least until now. ATI did its homework really well and RV770XT / PRO are the best chips that ATI ever made and at the same time, GT200 is faster but cannot really put much distance between itself and RV770XT cards. Nvidia has already dropped the average selling prices of its GT200 based products, G92 based products and 9600 and 9500 and this clearly indicates that they will cripple the average selling prices and the profits in the current quarter. Q3 2008 will be very bad for Nvidia especially when it comes to profits. Nvidia cannot make as much money as it used to per chip and therefore both revenue and profit will be down. We believe that this is a general trend for the future as graphics will get cheaper due to the heavy competition. This is a real DAAMIT situation for Nvidia as they have to convince its shareholders that making less money per chip is still fine.

一个系列三款产品，就把NV给摧残成这样，可以想象这几年来NV是如何的不思进取了，不可思议的是竟然还有一批人为NV歌功颂德，还列举一堆垄断的好处，真TMD可怜又可笑。

一点毛毛雨的性能差距。。。。。。居然能分这么多型号和价格。。。。。

不过电脑小白也多。。。。。。嘿。。。

确实是，更可恶的是8800GS套上马甲就是9600GSO，8800GT套上马甲就是9800GT……

反托法是因素之一，但更主要的是性能的超越，不可否认，这次价格战肯定是多方面因素导致的................

之前还有一个8800GTS 320M和8800GTS 640M。

不过A的X850时代也比较乱，性能上没占多少优势，也是衍生型号一大堆,X800,X800PRO,X800XT,X800GTO,X800XT PE,X850PRO,X850XT,X850XT PE。
当初为了搞清楚这几款显卡的性能还特地买了一期微型计算机。
