Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage components. The onboard power button
( `; j& j* n3 J1 b+ k8 \should be used only at an ESD workstation using an antistatic wrist strap and a/ A) m2 }9 K5 C1 N3 Q; l
conductive foam pad. If such a station is not available, some ESD protection can be1 t/ M- r3 Y& \. |* G' w" m
provided by wearing an antistatic wrist strap and attaching it to a metal part of the8 c; u9 t/ O) g4 {
computer chassis.

making changes to the system configuration, or for testing purposes.
