Two issues require resolution before continuing with the release ofthe VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i Patch. The Patch release will be delayeda further 2-3 weeks as of  27th July (barring any issues found duringQA) in order to complete the necessary testing to address these twoissues:
Blue screen error reported on exchange servers (already resolved)
Blue screen error on some Windows Vista systems with Core 2 Duo processors.

Thefirst issue was found internally. The second was reported from theMcAfee Consumer space. It is a processor errata (a bug) which our codewas exposing that
would sometimes occur on startup (or whenever thedrivers initialized), and that code is also in VSE 8.5i Patch 2.

Tobest accommodate these changes and allow smooth migrations for allcustomers, the patch will be released as Patch 3. For any customer whoinstalled Patch 2, a HotFix (or HotFixes) will be available to make upthe difference between the two releases.
