8.11秒!超频狂人用再创SuperPi新纪录

近日，知名超频狂人Kinc使用 Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650处理器再次创造了包括3DMark 05 、3DMark 06和SuperPi 1M 再内的多项测试成绩世界新纪录，测试时Kinc将Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650处理器的主频最高超至5600 MHz，他创造的最新 SuperPi 1M 成绩为8.11秒，新的3DMark 05 成绩为 37,095 分，新的3DMark 06成绩为27,542 。

　　在 3DMark 06 测试中，处理器主频超频至5.2 (13x400) GHz ，在 3DMark 05 测试中，处理器主频超至 5.440 (13x418) GHz! 测试时使用了 ASUS Maximus Formula主板、一对 Mushkin Redline DDR2 内存 （4-4-4-5），使用的显卡为 ASUS Radeon HD 2900 XT。

With Super PI, you can calculate pi up to 33.55 million decimal digits which is comparable to the world record calculated by the Cray-2 supercomputer of 29 million decimal digits in September 1986.

This does not mean that windows and higher clock Pentium based personal computer is comparable to the historical supercomputer.  More than 90% of calculation speed was atained with excellent algorithm for calculating pi up to 33.55 Million decimal digits.

By using single CPU of HITAC S-3800/480 vector supercomputer at the
computer centre, University of Tokyo can generate 1 Million decimal digits of pi within 5 seconds and 33.55 million decimal digits of pi within 4 minutes.  How about your personal computer time?

N.B. Current version of Super PI is limited and customized up to 33.55 Million decimal digits of pi calculation.
