Intel今天正式发布了针对移动网络设备（MID）和低价笔记本电脑的处理器系列品牌。新的Atom处理器预计将于今年晚些时候面世，也就是我们熟悉的研发代号Silverthorne和Diamondville产品。Intel同时还发布了MID平台品牌：“迅驰Atom处理器技术”。 Atom处理器Logo 迅驰平台Atom处理器技术Logo Atom处理器基于全新的微架构，保留了Core 2 Duo处理器的指令集，支持多线程处理，芯片面积不足25mm2，集成4700万个晶体管，是Intel有史以来最小功耗最低的处理器，11颗Atom处理器核心的面积仅和1美分硬币相当。Atom处理器（Silverthorne和Diamondville）基于Intel 54nm Hi-K技术制造，TDP仅为0.6到2.5W，但最高频率可达到1.8GHz。 Intel定义的“迅驰Atom处理器技术”（我们今后应当会简称为“迅驰Atom”）即开发代号“Menlow”的超低功耗移动平台。整套平台包括Intel Atom处理器（Silverthorne和Diamondville）、低功耗“伴侣芯片”（内置图形核心、无线网络等）以及超薄超轻的设计。 Intel将为Atom产品定义新的移动设备产品概念，除了移动互联网设备（MID）外，还包括新的低功耗移动互联网计算机“Netbooks”和基础互联网台式机“Nettops”。 Silverthorne处理器核心
