AllM-Audio devices, drivers, and software have been qualified for use withWindows XP Service Pack 3; however not all driver installers are SP3compatible. This means that if the driver for your M-Audio device isalready installed, upgrading to SP3 should not cause you any problems.

Ifyou have already installed Service Pack 3 and are unable to install anM-Audio driver, you can use Add or Remove Programs to remove SP3 andrestore your computer to its previous state.  Once your M-Audio driveris installed under SP2, you can reinstall SP3.

To remove Service Pack 3 by using Add or Remove Programs:

' T  t4 y9 u7 D/ s2 ]   1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
5 V: |( Q) c: z' w! y& z2 E8 G7 D% D   2. Click Add or Remove Programs, click Windows XP Service Pack 3, and then click Remove.
   3. Follow the instructions that appear on your screen.
   4. Restart your computer.

Important

5 S- ^9 a8 |: ~0 o   * If you choose to remove SP3, a dialog box displays a list of theprograms that you installed after you installed SP3.  If you continuewith the removal, these programs might not work correctly.
