順便也看了一下HighPoint的產品...
這個4460真的是相當古怪的設計..
首先他是第一款支持PCIe 2.0 x8的產品..
IOP348根本沒有支持PCIe 2.0...
只有到1.0a版本...
從上圖可以看到他支持的wide port數量和兩顆chip..
根據操作手冊說明的話有些限制 Port1 to Port6 These represent RocketRAID 4460’s 6 Internal Mini-SAS ports. Each port can direct
connect up to 4 hard drives. Port7 This represents RocketRAID 4460’s additional External Mini-SAS port. With the
automatic port selection funtion, Port7 can be used when Port1 has no disks attached
during power up,this port can direct connect up to 4 hard drives.
