1.14 Onboard Power Button
CAUTION
/ @: H& k( C! E- k6 p' `Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage components. The onboard power button

0 y( ?" R' x, n3 [! k- j! oconductive foam pad. If such a station is not available, some ESD protection can be
provided by wearing an antistatic wrist strap and attaching it to a metal part of the
computer chassis.
$ l4 _2 }; A% TThe board provides a power button that can be used to turn the computer on or off.
+ _: Q6 h9 z3 PThis button is intended for use at integration facilities to remove standby power before
% P, B9 Y3 K$ s# d# W( mmaking changes to the system configuration, or for testing purposes.
4 P) p. c( I5 C5 p. t4 A  L  P' s. QThe power button on the front panel is recommended for all other instances of turning
the computer on or off. To turn the computer off using the onboard power button,
keep the button pressed down for three seconds.

1.15 Onboard LEDs
In addition to the standby power indicator, the board contains two LEDs that indicate
the following:
• The CPU LED indicates an elevated temperature on the processor that could effect
performance
• The VR LED indicates an elevated temperature in the processor voltage regulator
circuit that could effect performance
