Word started getting around last week that a PC version of Gears of War would be unveiled at E3, and Epic Games—the title's developer—did indeed deliver on that front. The folks at Shacknews were on the scene at E3 and got a chance to try the game, and they've put together up a little mini-preview to relate their findings. According to the Shack, Gears of War PC is "not in a whole new visual realm" compared to the Xbox 360 version, but it does feature more detailed models and textures that contribute to an overall "tighter" look. Despite the fancier graphics, demo systems outfitted with GeForce 8800 graphics cards were reportedly able to run the game at 60 FPS at a resolution of 1920x1200.w00t)
