在記憶體、快閃記憶體市場佔有一席的A-DATA威剛科技，近來雖然受到市場上對DRAM產業不安訊息的困擾，不過在新產品的研發跟推出時程上，可是一點也不受景氣寒冬的影響（有投資才有成果，這是必然的），繼之前搶先業界，推出支援X58晶片組的「三通道記憶體」之後，在目前最紅的應用--固態硬碟SSD上面，也推出了新的產品「XPG」系列，主打「Extreme、Performance、Gear」（極限、效能、玩家良伴）三大主軸。這次Edward也提前拿到了威剛即將推出的新產品：A-DATA「XPG」固態硬碟SSD 192GB，在這邊先為大家搶先曝光一下。

Although the recession strike deeply in the DRAM/Flash industry, the famous brand DRAM Module/Flash Drive manufacturer: A-DATA Technology, still release a brand new SSD product-- A-DATA "XPG" 192GB SSD, and try to redefine the product in "Extreme, Performance, Gear". Now we already got it in the XFastest, let's have a short tour on this lastest SSD products.



外包裝，亮面的外型，容量為192GB，為2.5吋、SATA2規格，並且內建mini-USB接頭，並支援USB2.0傳輸規格。

The packing, A-DATA "XPG" SSD comes with 192GB in capacity, and design in 2.5", SATA II spec. and have a built-in mini-USB connector with USB 2.0 function.



「XPG」的三大訴求：「Extreme、Performance、Gear」

The Main points on the "XPG": Extreme, Performance, Gear.



主打的內容也是以玩家期待的為主；極佳化的SATA效能、省電、防震、並支援RAID功能。

The features also stated clearly on the top: Excellent SATA II Performance, Power Saving, Shock resistance, and RAID support. Now we already heard that some SSD can not support the RAID, so we are highly interested on this topic.

從規格表來看，除了外型符合2.5吋SATAII 規格之外，官方標示讀寫效能可達讀170MB/s、寫100MB/s之多。

Provide Read up to 170MB/s, Write up to 100MB/s.



尚未定版的包裝內容，不過已經大致上齊備了。

提醒玩家，不要同時使用兩種介面（SATA與USB同時使用），以免造成本體的損壞。

A note on the SSD: Do not use both interface (SATA/USB) in the same time.



產品正面，採用全鋁殼拉髮絲紋設計，在同類型產品中的完成度非常高。

背面也加上了「A-DATA」與「XPG」的銘刻，力推品牌的戰鬥氣息，非常濃厚。

You can see the A-DATA and XPG logo on the back, it is full of the battle feeling.



採用標準SATA接頭配置，左側則是mini-USB接頭，玩家除了可以當固態硬碟使用外，亦可當隨身硬碟使用，這也是目前SSD產品最流行的設計趨勢。

The standard SATA connection and comes with the mini-USB connector, you can use it as a SSD or a Flash Drive, it is also a trend on the SSD design in Taiwan.
