该扩展卡除了采用Marvell 88SE9123-NAA2芯片外，在PCB中央我们可以看到一颗PLX 8613-BA50BC PCI-E桥接芯片

在华硕的P7P55D Premium主板上同样采用了这颗芯片，其作用是把P55提供的4条PCI-E X1（Gen1）通道整合为2条PCI-E X1（Gen2），使Marvell 9123芯片与P55之间的带宽由250MB/s增加到500MB/s。而早USB3.0接口方面则通过NEC D720200F1管理芯片控制
