Vista下打开X Fi 的AC3、DTS硬件解码的方法

I cant believe this,

+ \( T; C, ?# MI used to use under xp my xfi fatayti with my xbox 360 using the optical in with dolby but since vista that has not been possible until now.

# }. A3 z9 d7 E) x; c1 TA few post back a guy told me how to get the optical in working again using the standard driver.

You do this by:-

Right click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select play back devices

% y$ }! @" K+ y, Z' w7 z0 J7 VNow right click on the speakers icon and select propeties
; ]- N  |- _0 Z  D$ ?* O
7 x& B3 a& Q9 J$ Z# p/ KIn the custom tab tick enable i/o
; t5 L( j0 y4 k0 S6 O! H) d
The in levels tab just un mute the spdif and digital

8 M5 x- t4 c  O1 f& r# tRight that gets the port working again but its  still wont accept dts siganls from the 360 until you do this

5 ~; g* ~6 V1 w- @1 C3 Q2 E' jDownload the xfi driver from dell just go on the dell site and download for dell dimension xps 710

0 |# X; a/ G1 rextract the exe file but dont install it just cancel after extracting

# P9 s9 P* E7 S3 onow copy these two files

# l( C: d4 ~) sctac32k.sys
- [% A! ~. y- n% j; i: w6 u* Mctdvda2k.sys

9 E8 f' @) I3 u. e- R1 i$ Winto c:windows/system32/drivers

$ w$ j" T7 e; l3 a1 Gcopy over the two files already there

when you reboot you'll have a new tab in the audio console for decoding

% ]2 Z4 B; `- Qenable the internal decoder

and just one more thing

in the spdif/io tab just enable the option from the drop down menu

' }- e! ^! j" pDTS spdif in decode

4 p2 v* [% p1 y; s, _# b4 vand thats it works a treat for me i now have my xbox 360 connected up to my optical in with dolby digtal in the settings.
