我觉得Fusion还可以一看，Torenzza只不过是HPC这个niche market中的一个小小的亮点而已，不会对市场造成大的影响。

股票价格还是看每个季度的业绩的，如果AMD的Q1亏损大于1.1亿，股票肯定狂跌，如果下半年还是亏损，那就万劫不复了。我不敢动AMD股票是因为AMD产品上完全丧失了主动，现在亏多少要取决于Intel的定价... ...

万劫不复到不至于，毕竟AMD的朋友不少，了不起回到５８６时代的竞争格局，但是AMD现在条件比当初好太多了。

1，以往的AMD说辞，都还没有表示过Fusion支持双精度。
作为一个性能/功耗产品，Fusion是足够的，
但是作为一个GPGPU，相对于2009年来说，可能不大合适。
2，Torenzza虽然有Cray这样小 ...

２００９年才会有fusion处理器面世，现在谈规格当然是太早了；不过NVIDIA既然计划在２００７下半年支持双精度，DAMIT没有理由不跟进吧。

Shares of semiconductor maker Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) gained in trading Monday on what one analyst said is renewed rumors the company could see interest from private equity firms.
Analysts also cited AMD's valuation, which has been down in recent weeks, for the surge in its stock Monday.
Recently, shares of Sunnyvale, Calif.-based AMD were trading up 81 cents, or 5.5%, to $15.50 on heavy volume of 32 million shares. Average daily volume is 24.2 million shares. Shares of AMD are off more than 60% from its high of $42.70 set in March.
AMD is in a protracted battle with competitor Intel Corp. (INTC) over market share, which has weighed on both companies' gross margins, with AMD's pain more pronounced.
Joanne Feeney, an analyst at FTN Midwest Securities said shares of AMD are getting a lift on renewed talk that private equity firms could buy a stake in the company. According to the analyst, AMD took on a lot of debt to acquire ATI Technologies and with the company's balance sheet under pressure it has to do something to bring in more cash. The analyst said that's prompting speculation that a PE firm could come to its rescue.
While Feeney said she doesn't think a PE firm would move to buy the company outright, she said it's likely a PE firm could buy a stake in the chip maker.
"It doesn't surprise me that this kind of chatter is coming around again," said the analyst, who doesn't own shares of AMD. FTN doesn't have an investment banking relationship with the company.
Officials at AMD weren't immediately available to comment.
