works for vista 32 bit

Right click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select play back devices

Now right click on the speakers icon and select propeties

# ^) C8 c# r% [2 n! O# VIn the custom tab tick enable i/o

% C! G' j4 |# H- ]1 Z' e! f6 vThe in levels tab just un mute the spdif and digital

' ~- X' M( ]& _$ _) D5 ~Right that gets the port working again but its  still wont accept dts siganls from the 360 until you do this

Download the xfi driver from dell just go on the dell site and download for dell dimension xps 710

extract the exe file but dont install it just cancel after extracting

now copy these two files

/ U) b% o+ |/ Q1 k) W1 m" Y6 Lctdvda2k.sys
6 F6 r- @3 _( y0 t
1 _, }- m3 W  m6 }, i, z" q* [into c:windows/system32/drivers
! M5 ~( s, c: P& P+ D. i6 b0 l
* G7 c5 c6 C! E+ jcopy over the two files already there

% _& H" A0 C4 _; jwhen you reboot you'll have a new tab in the audio console for decoding
& v6 ]  J9 `0 i$ A. P3 }
enable the internal decoder

and just one more thing
& U! X8 s2 S! A" U( q
in the spdif/io tab just enable the option from the drop down menu

DTS spdif in decode

and thats it works a treat for me i now have my xbox 360 connected up to my optical in with dolby digtal in the settings.
