Vista下打开X Fi 的AC3、DTS硬件解码的方法

$ T* C5 d( j+ Q8 o& sI used to use under xp my xfi fatayti with my xbox 360 using the optical in with dolby but since vista that has not been possible until now.

+ V7 |/ G3 X; K0 c/ H: T; n' nA few post back a guy told me how to get the optical in working again using the standard driver.

9 Y: o4 ]( U# g$ ], {! w) ZRight click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select play back devices

) c. q3 Q. R0 e2 R! Z* ZNow right click on the speakers icon and select propeties

" q- i# |0 Q1 M" SIn the custom tab tick enable i/o

The in levels tab just un mute the spdif and digital

Right that gets the port working again but its  still wont accept dts siganls from the 360 until you do this

Download the xfi driver from dell just go on the dell site and download for dell dimension xps 710

- Y6 \7 t: Z8 mextract the exe file but dont install it just cancel after extracting

now copy these two files

" s2 n7 N5 ^0 Q5 \2 d& R2 V/ Zctac32k.sys
ctdvda2k.sys

' c, D" T/ B, d( m& Q1 Qinto c:windows/system32/drivers

copy over the two files already there
/ A5 p% N1 G) g, V8 M
% f: u0 M7 ~% A0 \! B& Twhen you reboot you'll have a new tab in the audio console for decoding

enable the internal decoder

and just one more thing

0 }) H$ m4 y" d% b/ L' ~! N  |* l5 _in the spdif/io tab just enable the option from the drop down menu

DTS spdif in decode

9 I; k$ j9 X* a6 ^and thats it works a treat for me i now have my xbox 360 connected up to my optical in with dolby digtal in the settings.

- X6 n: V5 e3 }4 p我试了一下，确实可以的，而且WinDVD播放AC3和DTS片子的时候，CPU占用率有少许下降，但是不能肯定就是真的硬件解码
