Vista下打开X Fi 的AC3、DTS硬件解码的方法

I cant believe this,

4 \- y  x3 \0 E; B1 C' s+ aI used to use under xp my xfi fatayti with my xbox 360 using the optical in with dolby but since vista that has not been possible until now.

4 I  q3 E5 x6 r& O) J# BA few post back a guy told me how to get the optical in working again using the standard driver.

You do this by:-

Right click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select play back devices

3 l$ k- b. _0 |Now right click on the speakers icon and select propeties

# |3 s- T# R5 [, z0 W( ~In the custom tab tick enable i/o

# f1 _4 N% m" P: i7 k$ PThe in levels tab just un mute the spdif and digital

1 P+ q/ M4 w- w" W# vRight that gets the port working again but its  still wont accept dts siganls from the 360 until you do this

* ?7 F" V' D7 Q4 Q3 C1 Z: F0 HDownload the xfi driver from dell just go on the dell site and download for dell dimension xps 710

: o5 J$ z3 g3 g7 _" o+ D$ kextract the exe file but dont install it just cancel after extracting

now copy these two files

ctac32k.sys
# p2 _, a0 f! D/ t$ L; Mctdvda2k.sys
1 o# G7 Q( I$ \) j
into c:windows/system32/drivers

3 w  n0 V( h6 t0 g1 L5 P# icopy over the two files already there

when you reboot you'll have a new tab in the audio console for decoding

6 K9 u6 i: G& y* R; y% }and just one more thing

in the spdif/io tab just enable the option from the drop down menu

DTS spdif in decode

/ P9 L- U( n0 i, e1 }( [and thats it works a treat for me i now have my xbox 360 connected up to my optical in with dolby digtal in the settings.

我试了一下，确实可以的，而且WinDVD播放AC3和DTS片子的时候，CPU占用率有少许下降，但是不能肯定就是真的硬件解码
