Vista下打开X Fi 的AC3、DTS硬件解码的方法

works for vista 32 bit

A few post back a guy told me how to get the optical in working again using the standard driver.

You do this by:-

; b3 a' @! n3 {) ^0 j+ V  wRight click on the speaker icon in the system tray and select play back devices

5 n. [/ W; j! C/ PNow right click on the speakers icon and select propeties

In the custom tab tick enable i/o
1 Y- g7 z1 I+ Z' L" M- u0 E8 W% n
The in levels tab just un mute the spdif and digital

1 S7 O7 i# y1 k6 BRight that gets the port working again but its  still wont accept dts siganls from the 360 until you do this

, I2 k. u* P; r8 k8 F& W9 v9 UDownload the xfi driver from dell just go on the dell site and download for dell dimension xps 710

+ y, w# W' Z: V5 Yextract the exe file but dont install it just cancel after extracting

now copy these two files
; Y/ C! c7 W& O( R+ U  o
$ X. l3 }$ i) Z; E; F, H/ Qctac32k.sys
3 A$ p" v4 o1 ^" u; }ctdvda2k.sys

1 ~2 V. B# ]% F# f% k' C2 |into c:windows/system32/drivers

copy over the two files already there

when you reboot you'll have a new tab in the audio console for decoding

enable the internal decoder

4 o% i/ E( |1 |6 ^0 L1 p, L* ~and just one more thing

6 E' Q9 `  c* p9 ]7 gin the spdif/io tab just enable the option from the drop down menu

DTS spdif in decode

and thats it works a treat for me i now have my xbox 360 connected up to my optical in with dolby digtal in the settings.

我试了一下，确实可以的，而且WinDVD播放AC3和DTS片子的时候，CPU占用率有少许下降，但是不能肯定就是真的硬件解码
