巫妖王之怒的画面相较之前有了提升,图形引擎中加入了人物和环境阴影,并可通过“/console extShadowQuality #”(#等于1-6)进行调节,最高级将使得画面中所有人物角色、NPC和环境产生动态透明柔和阴影。此外,还可以通过宏命令调整细节等级和植被密度等参数(WoTLK Only Graphic Enhancement Macros[[ http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=8202277367 ]]),实际上巫妖王之怒相比魔兽世界原始版本和燃烧的远征已经调高了这两项参数。

Side Note - What does CharacterAmbient do?
Let Dr. Death Knight explain,
/console CharacterAmbient
0 = Default basic ambient lighting on characters.
0.1 - 1.0 controls how bright this ambient lighting is.
1.0 is equiv to when you click a character and they fully highlight.
No Value disables all character model ambient lighting so when they do light up from an external light source it looks far better and not washed out.
