working, either through Composite or S-Video, in Windows 2000 or
5 Q' D3 A6 ~; K" \& Z. vLinux, and I was curious if anyone else has or is having the same

BTW: Asus customer service has to be the worst I've ever delt with.

All Devices Are function properly with the exception of the DVI

reason I purchased this motherboard and daughter card.

I have tried downloading and reinstalling the drivers for the systems, p3 ~& a' H- b% g* N7 Q9 N
components, running the system with each monitor indivually and3 f3 j4 A# \8 P$ t" b5 q
combined, and unplugging the TV Tuner Card. The setting under the bios
) m& R4 G1 y+ t: ospecify NTSC for the TV out format Nothing has had an effect on the
. {# A5 J, h$ {1 Dvideo output of the AGP-NV-DVI card.

q( p3 l6 Y& q& `+ ZAll I receive from the Television for a fraction of second is a6 S& }7 R7 c9 u5 l' T

$ U$ l9 K# y. S5 W9 _ [- `+ s(AGP-NV-DVI) back from the RMA department. I hook up all the parts and
% D @* ^0 F0 y5 A+ u' Z3 X2 bpieces to the power supply and the SAME PROBLEM. Exactly the same as6 J- {2 S9 @1 V( Z
the last time. I did notice one new thing. When I went to check the0 l: l# G2 b& O6 }
connection of the Composite Video Cable a small spark jumped from the5 S7 z2 ?2 @7 m+ b" v t
AGP Cards resistor, Marked R20??, to the AGP Connector on the system% g; E# ^/ B! H8 O: t
board, causing the system to reset and including the CMOS. That
* Z7 D# ~% B# ~1 ~! i/ Ydoesn't look good at all. Funny thing is that was happening before I
. f4 Y* m; l4 I: t8 h) L! Ljust didn't notice it, and I think thats what caused the last failure.
: C& u4 F% }0 Z: R# \9 M9 k3 jBottom line the Card and System still don't do what I need them to do.# @9 q. J6 @/ L
Help with this feature would be greatly appreciated since it is why I

changing the power supply--perhaps there is something wrong with the& K! m e! {! Z5 G: E4 _( Y3 d6 `. j4 U* I
Antec you picked up? The parts you received from RMA either a) worked
" X" |3 s3 d: T% kproperly in their lab after repair, or b) were sent as working
1 o' [: ]2 S% g6 j* o2 a! a! i6 preplacements for the parts you sent to them. Either way, they should
, `+ d( {1 r9 x& h% S) T" h, Ffunction correctly. Since you had a problem initially when using the
) V" F6 i/ u* A& ]! ~ OAntec, and now are having what looks like static problems, perhaps7 k Q3 a) L( V( d0 Q% \
that particular power supply has issues of its own.

3 U& S1 e" X2 bRegarding the TV out problem: Make sure the television is turned on6 |! Z: c7 ], Y+ E2 o
and connected to the card before turning on the computer. You may also
: |# x+ p7 k5 L) ?: _& Q( x6 F' pwant to try a different video cable to see if that helps.
! j& t* F8 |1 O2 z& l/ b$ u }( H
6 ~9 M" _$ r/ m* [+ p- x8 f2 WIf a different power supply doesn't help the condition of the boards,
# H' D3 J8 @% k! hunfortunately the only option left is to contact RMA once again.
