1.14 Onboard Power Button

Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage components. The onboard power button' D' k. n1 y2 }) j. k5 T3 f
should be used only at an ESD workstation using an antistatic wrist strap and a
" d0 {8 a" l5 z& |5 y4 _0 s, o) aconductive foam pad. If such a station is not available, some ESD protection can be
: j' a( ?0 s' t/ O3 cprovided by wearing an antistatic wrist strap and attaching it to a metal part of the

2 n) {1 B8 N7 u9 Z, y- cThe board provides a power button that can be used to turn the computer on or off.
4 H" V; C/ a Z- U0 wThis button is intended for use at integration facilities to remove standby power before }* a3 g( s: O z0 n9 b
making changes to the system configuration, or for testing purposes.% \# [/ n9 B, [( [
The power button on the front panel is recommended for all other instances of turning
