The Lynx Version 2 (WDM) driver supports multi-channel playback using the Play 1 device. To effectively monitor 5.1 audio 6 discreet outputs are necessary, so the LynxTWO-B, with 6 analog outputs, is the ideal choice.

To play back Dolby or DTS encoded sources, Dolby or DTS decoding software must be utilized.

The Windows speaker configuration needs to be on “5.1 surround sound speakers”. To set this, go to Control Panel> Sounds and Audio Devices> Audio> Default Device/Advanced> Speaker Setup = 5.1 surround sound speakers
