The Windows speaker configuration needs to be on “5.1 surround sound speakers”. To set this, go to Control Panel> Sounds and Audio Devices> Audio> Default Device/Advanced> Speaker Setup = 5.1 surround sound speakers : c' C$ L* G4 ?
When playing back 5.1 surround encoded audio, the channel distribution is: Left/Right = Outputs 1&2; Center = 3; Sub= 4; Left/Right Rear = 5&6. |
