AllM-Audio devices, drivers, and software have been qualified for use withWindows XP Service Pack 3; however not all driver installers are SP3compatible. This means that if the driver for your M-Audio device isalready installed, upgrading to SP3 should not cause you any problems.

Ifyou have already installed Service Pack 3 and are unable to install anM-Audio driver, you can use Add or Remove Programs to remove SP3 andrestore your computer to its previous state. Once your M-Audio driveris installed under SP2, you can reinstall SP3.

To remove Service Pack 3 by using Add or Remove Programs:

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.+ P; x/ }' t ^1 r9 c7 L+ d! S
2. Click Add or Remove Programs, click Windows XP Service Pack 3, and then click Remove.5 A2 ]4 F' ]- K+ @
3. Follow the instructions that appear on your screen.
