AllM-Audio devices, drivers, and software have been qualified for use withWindows XP Service Pack 3; however not all driver installers are SP3compatible. This means that if the driver for your M-Audio device isalready installed, upgrading to SP3 should not cause you any problems.

Ifyou have already installed Service Pack 3 and are unable to install anM-Audio driver, you can use Add or Remove Programs to remove SP3 andrestore your computer to its previous state.  Once your M-Audio driveris installed under SP2, you can reinstall SP3.

To remove Service Pack 3 by using Add or Remove Programs:
1 E2 c' b4 @( d
   1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
   2. Click Add or Remove Programs, click Windows XP Service Pack 3, and then click Remove.
   3. Follow the instructions that appear on your screen.

! c  s7 S) ?( J: K$ l   * If you choose to remove SP3, a dialog box displays a list of theprograms that you installed after you installed SP3.  If you continuewith the removal, these programs might not work correctly.
