The Lynx Version 2 (WDM) driver supports multi-channel playback using the Play 1 device. To effectively monitor 5.1 audio 6 discreet outputs are necessary, so the LynxTWO-B, with 6 analog outputs, is the ideal choice.

To play back Dolby or DTS encoded sources, Dolby or DTS decoding software must be utilized. 9 u$ x- h* |; ?* F7 P( p
The most current Lynx firmware is required. Visit http://www.lynxstudio.com/support_downloads.asp for the latest firmware updater.
* Q2 I4 z# H" _% U( p. g: v" GThe Windows speaker configuration needs to be on “5.1 surround sound speakers”. To set this, go to Control Panel> Sounds and Audio Devices> Audio> Default Device/Advanced> Speaker Setup = 5.1 surround sound speakers
