Overview
The CA20K1 digital audio processor is a slave processor designed to
) ], f4 S" F4 x& v& N/ z( ^accelerator digital audio processing and is available in 0.13mm BGA package
size 23mm by 23mm. The CA20K1 contain several special purposes
/ I9 a* X* w+ `( Z9 X: U/ lprocessing units including: a sample rate converter engine, a digital filter
engine, a digital delay line accelerator know as the “tank engine”, a digital
$ i# u) E% g/ r* G" S  r6 Afilter engine, a powerful mixer, a micro-programmable audio DSP, various
digital I/O capabilities and bus mastering external memory interfaces. Unlike
) n- e' {" O; x% B& ?- u- L7 Dthe host interface control port the bus mastering “audio transport” supports
' ?! l8 X( u! n. `  A: aburst mode accesses to the PCI and SDRAM interfaces. Host processor is
0 s8 o- P7 s5 v6 y4 m7 X" jrequired to control the CA20K1 through a 32-bit PCI bus or a generic
microprocessor interface using a series of reads and writes to control
registers.
