Radeon HD 4830缺陷问题得到确认

As we said on announcement of the Radeon HD 4830, the first cards based on this solution only had 112 Vec5 units rather than the 128 announced.

The problem, linked to the bios, affects some of the models sent out to the press, which were the cards used in the first published tests and which therefore show performance dips of around 10% lower than those on the correctly furnished Radeon HD 4830s.

What is more problematic is that AMD announced today that HIS has distributed worldwide around 400 cards which have this problem. A simple bios update is all that’s required to correct the problem, after detection with GPU-Z, but HIS has not yet posted the said bios update on its site ...
