Korean Indilinx的Barefoot IDX22 nand controller

The IDX22, codenamed Barefoot, is an SSD controller supporting up to512GB capacity using multi-level cell (MLC) NAND flash chips. It has aSATA II interface, that's 3Gbits/sec, and has read and write speeds of230MB/sec and 170MB/sec respectively using single-level cell (SLC)flash.
These slow to still impressive 200MB/sec (read) and 160MB/sec (write)with MLC NAND. The IDX22 has two independely operating groups of fourchannels and a DRAM cache. It uses two types of hardware errorcorrection code (ECC): Reed-Solomon; and Bose-Chadhuri-Hocquenghem. Thecontroller chip uses a 90nm process.
1.5 million hours mean time between failures (MTBF)
Mass production is scheduled in Q4 of this year

大量固态硬盘产品的推出无疑是今年存储行业的一大亮点，传统的硬盘厂商、闪存厂商甚至其他行业巨头都不约而同的参与其中。今天，又有两家厂商推出了他们的SSD新品，都以高速度为主打，读取速度双双超过200MB/s。

首先是OCZ的Vertex系列，这款针对个人发烧友市场的2.5寸SATA II接口SSD采用的是MLC闪存颗粒，但搭载了64MB缓存，读取速度达到200MB/s，写入速度也可达160MB/s，MTBF平均无故障工作时间 150万小时。容量从30GB到250GB不等，售价分别为30GB 129美元，60GB 249美元，120GB 469美元，250GB 869美元。

Super Talent的新品UltraDrive系列虽然同样为2.5寸SATA II规格，但主要针对企业市场。其中LE型号为SLC颗粒，读取速度高达230MB/s，写入也达到170MB/s，容量最大128GB。而ME系列为 MLC颗粒，最高读取速度200MB/s，写入速度160MB/s，容量最大256GB。该系列SSD将于明年一月上市，售价并未公布。

那缓存是一块三星的颗粒K4S281632I-UC60,128Mb=16MB,,
如果是128MB的话,当年单条2GB的sdram就满大街都是了,现在市售最高规格的sdram颗粒才32MB

这个方案的缓存会不会和OCZ一样按容量搭配？现在OCZ的30G 60G用32M缓存，120、250G用64M缓存

固捷在缓存容量上倒是很大,不会是利用率很低所以用128M做卖点了吧.
看到交易区的帖子,貌似这次山寨的价格也不会很低,30G带32M缓存貌似价格和现在60的一个价

等测试出来看看 固捷带128M都被intel16MB iops拉开太多！ 芯片更重要啊

这个东西被吹过头了，其实自己可以算啊，intel那个pc166 16bit的dram，带宽其实只有332MB/s
这还是跑满的情况，实际上这东西的频率很可能不足133，连sata300的带宽都不见得摸得到

btw，mtron的那些ssd，都是32M的DRAM哦
好像被x25-m虐得很惨啊
