For Me, Nvidia GeForce XP Driver 190.38 removed the PHYSx Controls partialy from my system, Now to even see controls for them I have to goto windows/System32/PhysXCplUI.exe to see anything status wise... Which leads to my question, Does XFX GeForce 8500 GT have the ablity to use PHYSx or Not, It always used to show up and work fine, it also showed my GeForce 8500 GT in PhysXCplUI.exe under PHYSX Processors installed, but doesn't now. This better Not be the begining of a complete phase out for GeForce 8 Series Cards in Physx, cause it sure looks it now.
Come to think of it, the Problem is likely in the new PhysX Driver cause 9.09.408 worked flawlessly,
but 9.09.428 is broken for me.....
If Nvidia doesn't shape up soon, The very next Video Card I buy WILL be ATI based.
Besides, I've been a loyal customer at least since around 1996, so I definitely don't like malfunctioning software or Computer Stuff. It's been mostly good so far, so I hope things start working again soon.
The Video Card itself seems to be ok so far with the current Driver, but it doesn't seem to detect my video card in the Physx Control Panel, It used to, and I wonder why It doesn't anymore...
Please Answer... Thanks for reading. Signed, Chaosjr7
