收購Adaptec後, PMC-Sierra 推出首張SAS 2.0 Raid Card - maxRAID BR5225-80

自上星期收購Adaptec RAID Storage Business後，PMC-Sierra隨即推出其首款SAS 2.0 Raid Card - maxRAID BR5225-80，採用的是自己研發和生產的PMC PM8013 maxSAS RAID-on-Chip (RoC)，這顆RoC號稱使用了Three multi-threading MIPS 34K processing cores架構，但目前只能支持到RAID 5模式，時下流行的RAID 6仍然欠奉.
