In the computer display sector, the exclusive support of 60 Hz signals is still widespread.

In order to test the actual behaviour of the Dell U2410 in this regard, we connected the model to a video processor. Amongst other things, the iScan VP50 provides variable output frequencies and a test pattern in the form of a bar that moves through the screen, with which a simple juddering test can be carried out.

The result is similar to that of the DELL U2711. Apart from playback at 60 Hz, 24 Hz, 48 Hz and 50 Hz signals are also supported. However, display is only judder free at 60 Hz. The DELL U2410 will therefore convert any incoming signal to 60 Hz internally.

Judder fee playback of PAL-SD and HD material, NTSC-SD and HD material from film source and Blu-ray, also from film source, is therefore unfortunately not possible.
