是,但是前提是建立在使用SAS硬盘的基础上
我买sc846e1之前做了大量研究,e2对sata硬盘来说无意义,只是收获之一。
出处有很多,老外论坛上提到sc846e1得地方必然提到e2,总会说到这个问题,下面是其中之一

Another consideration would be if you decided to create a highly available system. If that is your goal you would want to use the E2 version of the chassis that we selected, as it supports dual SAS controllers. Since we are using SATA drives, and SATA drives only support a single controller, we decided to go with the single controller backplane.
If you’re using SATA drives, there is no benefit to using the E2 backplane, as SATA drives do not support dual controller connections.
再次建议很多东西不要建立在理论上,应当多做调研。
r5,r6在生产环境中是非常成熟的配置,但是前提是建立在各环节都是生产级设备的前提下。
先别说eads,lp,支持TLER,就节能盘这慢的吓人的起转速度,放在大阵列里面就是一定时炸弹。
