AMD'S RD600 chipset is AMD's first Intel chipset, ever. From what we heard it looks like DFI will be the first with the retailboard. This chipset has been delayed for quite some time and somecompanies like Sapphire decided to drop the project. It doesn’t looklike AMD will make more Intel chipsets in the future, so this might bethe last one, but we might be wrong about that. Things change.
RD600 should be the best overclocker on market and should even surpassthe great scores of Nforce 680i SLI. Nforce 680 is already a betteroverclocker than Intel own chipsets, the 975 and P965, and RD600 mightbe even better.
DFI is committed to make a board around it and this usually means itwill be a hell of a good overclocker. We also learned that memorymanufacturers are keeping expectations high for this one, as it mightbe the best overclocker so far. µ
