AMD to rename only for China and Russia

Western folks don’t like it We've learned that rebranding of Radeon 3000 to 4000 will actually be limited to a few regions, but at the same time one of the biggest markets. ATI might do this in China and Russia but the western hemisphere should be free from it. The reason for it is that big OEM's that are selling in USA and Europe are not a big friends of renaming idea but at the end of the day, people do like higher numbers as they sound much better. RV710 and 730 should be ready to jump in the big OEM designs shortly before Q4 and therefore these western partners will be able to get the real Radeon 4000 rather than fake, rebranded ones. Nvidia was criticised for selling the same chip with other brand but most of the market didn’t really mind and Nvidia had successful sales of many G92 iterations.

AMD这么搞又不是第一次，R300时代就把残次的R300芯片弄成9800SE只卖中国，1099元送罗技键鼠套装，实际性能被Radeon9500和9600XT踩，Radeon9600这个核心的马甲到目前为止没有一款产品能够打破其马甲王的称号

amd这几年没少在中国受鸟气，这么搞是有来由滴。
  
  苏联么，当年莫斯科奥运会的情况足以见西方对其敌视了。

囧 我以前一时冲动买了9800SE这个马甲，而且只有鼠标没键盘。不过那块2年前卖给同学了，现在还在用。

是我记错了，没有键盘，只有罗技鼠标，应该是什么极光旋雕吧

AMD在中国受气，笑话吧？我只知道很多人对它很推崇。
那只是为了抗议苏联入侵阿富汗。对于手里有核武器的疯子，估计没有几个人会喜欢，比如说金胖子..........

ATI的做法不地道 但是买的人有好多是抱着买彩票的想发去的 一个愿打一个愿挨

用个商品都B4来B4去的，用I字号卫生巾的B4用A记的。

不同意识形态、不同价值观的不仇视不B4才怪。

不过出什么商品给某个国家，好象不在仇视没什么关系

HD 3k系列早就有了，现在改名又来圈钱，是多一种选择？还是多一种被吸钱的选择？
