The FSP Everest 1010w has a 120mm fan and good efficiency that shouldallow the unit to be able to be quiet while still being adequatelycool. These are characteristics that the Everest shares with Epsilonplatform that we have seen a number of examples of and those units havebeen generally quiet. The FSP Everest is no exception to this trend asit was not discernible in our testing environment through 80% of its DCoutput. Beyond that we have no idea the units sound as it was unable tocomplete any loads greater than 80% under our testing parameters.
这一段就自己理解:HardOCP之前测过很多全汉OEM的Epsilon架构电源,以往都很安静。而这一个Epsilon架构的Everest 1010w在80%负载下,风扇已经全速了,让人感觉已经无法再往上加负载。
For the loads the Everest 1010w was able to run it did a good job in all of our metrics, however the unit was hurt by one big failing. That failing was the unit’s inability to complete our load tests at our more relevant ambient temperature of 45c even though it was able to do so at room temperature (~26c) as it failed the full load test (Test #4) but did complete the Torture Test (80% load).
总结里面说的,应该是45度下完成不了,但是在26度下完成了,不知道对不对。还有80% load的折磨型测试 Torture Test :lol:
Through 80% of the unit’s output the largest amplitude trace we saw was ~25mV on the 12v rails in Test #3 and the Torture Test. The 5v and 3.3v rails were equally well behaved through 75% of the unit’s output and only began to waver in the Torture Test when the 3.3v rail hit 20mV of ripple/noise
负载不行纹波却又很好。真是奇怪的型号。
